The challenges that bring most people here.
All sessions are virtual. Available to clients across Massachusetts.

What virtual therapy actually looks like.
"Many people who come to me have never done therapy over video before. That's okay — it's simpler than you might think. You'll receive a private link. You'll click it from anywhere — your living room, your car, your office with the door closed. You'll see this welcome screen, and I'll bring you in when I'm ready."
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
A REAL SESSION, FROM YOUR SIDE OF THE SCREEN."Your sessions are HIPAA-compliant and end-to-end encrypted, which means our conversations stay private — between you and me. If you're worried about the technology, please don't be. We can do a 5-minute test call before your first session if you'd like."

"Each one shows up differently for different people. We move at your pace, and we don't rush the parts that need time."
When worry runs the show.
The late-night spiral, the racing chest, the to-do list that never quiets down. CBT-based work focuses on changing your relationship with worry, not eliminating it.
Talk to Fay →When everything feels heavier than it should.
The things you used to care about feel distant. Therapy creates structure when everything else feels shapeless.
Talk to Fay →When something from before is still showing up.
Trauma stays in the body. Trauma-informed therapy moves at the pace your nervous system can handle. There is no rush here.
Talk to Fay →When the closest people are the hardest conversations.
Communication breaks down. Resentment builds. A neutral space to work through what's stuck — together.
Talk to Fay →The relational stuff that shapes the whole week.
Friendship, dating, family-of-origin, work. Not couples counseling — individual therapy focused on relational patterns.
Talk to Fay →Plus, supportive work.
Substance use & recovery support, grief and loss, stress management, criminal-justice support, and referral services. One part of the broader behavioral-health work Fay does — never the only thing on the table.

What is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?
CBT is one of the most thoroughly researched approaches in mental health. It is structured and practical. It focuses on the relationship between your thoughts, your feelings, and your behavior.
The premise is that the way you interpret situations influences how you feel about them, and how you feel drives what you do. Change the pattern at the thought level, and everything downstream can shift.
In practice, sessions are goal-directed. You leave each one with something concrete. It is not just talk. It is work.
