What this site is

Psychotherapycounseling.net is the website of Psychotherapy Counseling Services, a solo virtual psychotherapy practice operated by Fay White, M.Ed., LADC1, in Massachusetts. The site provides general information about the practice and a way to start a conversation about working together.

What this site is not

This site is not clinical care. Reading this site, browsing the FAQ, or sending a message through the contact form does not create a clinician-client relationship. A clinical relationship begins only after an intake conversation and the signing of formal consent documents.

This site is not a substitute for emergency care. If you are in crisis or feel unsafe, call 911 or text 988. Do not use the contact form to communicate emergencies — it is not monitored in real time.

The information on this site is general and educational. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. It does not replace advice from a qualified mental health provider who knows your specific situation.

Geographic Limitation

The practice is licensed in Massachusetts. Sessions are available only to clients physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the session. Submitting the contact form from outside Massachusetts does not establish eligibility for services.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Therapy is collaborative work. Outcomes vary based on many factors, including pacing, fit, and what each person brings to the work. Nothing on this site should be read as a promise of any specific result.

The text, photographs, and design of this site belong to Psychotherapy Counseling Services. Please don't copy or republish without permission.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Under the federal No Surprises Act, self-pay clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before beginning treatment. A Good Faith Estimate is available on request.
